It is with great sadness that we at BumRack announce the death of retired CIA lawyer John Rizzo. We’re only sad because Rizzo never experienced the pain and violent death that his actions brought upon detainees and Mideast civilians killed by CIA drone strikes. Justice would have demanded that Rizzo and his CIA flunkies be waterboarded, shackled naked in freezing cells, shocked with cattleprods and subjected to all the other creative methods of torture which they visited upon others. Rizzo got the Justice Department to agree that these methods did not violate American law, and that no one working for the CIA would be subject to prosecution, giving CIA sadists license to torment their prisoners to the edge of death and beyond. Of course, these monsters will never face any consequences for their atrocities, because the CIA and the rest of the intelligence agencies are above the law, and Rizzo made it official. The CIA stinks, and Americans who supported and still support torture and murder in the name of their own safety smell even worse. To Congress and the rest of Americans who don’t care what we do to foreigners, we predict that some day our government will be torturing you the same way. To John Rizzo and the CIA, we at BumRack offer the Golden Excrement Award and a hearty “Fuck you!”

To place the words “justice” and the “CIA” in the same sentence is an automatic oxymoron. “Murder” is the only noun that seems to want to inhabit the same sentence as “CIA”.
