With another eviction crisis approaching, what is the response from Congressional Democrats? Why, even though they have the majority of the House and Senate, they remain unable to muster enough votes to pass a new ban on evictions. Now you might think our fearless mainstream media would ask the question, “Why are they unable to muster the votes?” But asking questions is not the business of the media. Their business is to protect the interests of the wealthy. So we at BumRack will ask the question for them, and provide the answer: because Democrats are paid not to do anything about evictions. Enough Democrats are owned by real estate interests – ownership which would be described as corruption outside the U.S. – that they will vote against an eviction ban. Remember, the loss of the eviction ban is liable to make homeless a million or more Americans. You could claim that preventing a million more Americans going homeless is more important than protecting real estate interests, but Democrats do not agree. Democrats are bought and paid for, and they are never going to take care of the ordinary citizens of this country, because they are corrupt. Simple as that.
Gee, Massa, you mean it’d really be better to not have another million homeless added to the current 600 K? Wow, Democrats, if I belonged to your stupid party, I guess I’d have to despise your fecklessness. No wait, I don’t belong to your bloody party and I still despise your fecklessness.
